Hmm. From that Metacritic list, looks like the Goo Goo Dolls are recording their own version of Nick Cave's "Let Love In."

There should just be an icon that we can hit that will automatically post this exact statement. I laugh every time I see it. Which is pretty often.

this will be their fourth album, counting flake music.

speaking of which, timmy, check out flake music.

I've had that for years.
:P (and it's not very good either. Too fragmented a composition as a whole.)

Dov and I saw them open for the White Stripes last September on Coney Island. I like their discs and would like to see them in a smaller venue. I'm not sure they were suited for the baseball park.

I saw them in Schuba's parking lot. They sounded good, but were pretty boring.

They keep touring here in early January when I'm not in Sydney. Grrr. Heard good things about the shows though.

Looking forward to the new one. It hasn't really been that long since the last one, by the time you include touring time to Europe, down here, and a few times around the US and some time to actually have a life away from it.

Don't worry with the haters, Dri. You don't have to reassure yourself that the Shins are good or "hip".

I'm looking forward to this, but not expecting much. I'm sure they know that this album could be huge with plenty of MTV airtime, and I just hope that doesn't affect the songwriting process.
