I thought for sure this thread was gonna be about herpes or genital warts. In which I was hoping OPA would raise his hand.

You know, I don't appreciate it when people hijack my threads. Do you mind?

Sounds like that might be it, judging by the description, alone.
But I'm not sure.

also, i think he's saying "narcissque" or something thereabouts.

EDIT: maybe only at the end.

this sounds vaguely like the national, but it's not them.

band is dogbowl, album is Songs For Narcisse.

all you have to do is strip the ".mpeg" from the end and your player will read the metadata.

Wait a minute... Hasn't Todd talked up Dogbowl before?

Was this just a devious attempt to get people to listen to one of your song postings?

(If so, well played.)

It's not going to come in handy often. I just noticed that the file extension was ".mp3.mpeg", which is weird, and that it was opening up in my video player instead of itunes. i guessed that it was just an mp3 file, but that itunes wasn't reading the tags because it was tricked into thinking it was another format. so take of the extension and itunes knows what to do with it.

When my dad was on lots of heart meds he used to call us kids in the middle of the night and make us tell him we'd given our hearts over to the Lord and our Salvation was Secure and we weren't just Fooling Him and he wouldn't have to die thinking we'd be facing Sulfury Perdition.

Okay.
That is weird.
You did jog my memory about this one now.

And yes, I have talked up Dogbowl before.
Probably even this song, now that you refreshed my obviously damaged memory.

Thanks, though Haq. It was bugging me.
