1. Billy Packer has used the word "length" more times than in all of OPA!'s combined letters to Santa over the years.

2. Billy Packer keeps calling Florida's coach "Dunavan."

3. Yannick Noah finally bothers to show up for one of his son's games, but won't deign to wear so much as a UF dreadlock scrunchie to display one iota of support for his son's team.

4. It looks like George Mason is going to lose.

I'm hating that Billy Packer isnt annoying me nearly as much as he normally does. God. Dude is such a fucking pro that he rarely if EVER steps on Nance unlike Vitale who just completely ignores the PBP guy.

And yeah, the dream is over for G. Mason.

It sucks that they went out with a whimper. They just fell apart in the second half.

First thing I thought of. Also, he just made sure to reaffirm his belief that Mason isn't good enough to play in this tournament, stating that Florida is just "too long and too athletic" for the smaller school, and "there is a difference in talent level" regarding the Cinderella. I'm not saying what he says is wrong, but drop the fucking arrogance. Connecticut, Michigan State and North Carolina were also "too long and too athletic".

Also, there was some pre-game deal about Florida players who were the children of pro athletes, and I swear Yannick Noah called his son "Wah-keem" not "Joe-Kim" as the announcers have been. Did I dream that?

I didn't see the pre-game, but "Joe-Kim" is a fucking stupid proununciation.

I was hoping George Mason would win, I was pulling for an LSU-George Mason championship game to prevent UCLA from winning another title and an all SEC title game.
I guess I need to root for an all SEC title game like the OU-Kansas one during the days of Wayman Tisdale and Danny Manning.

I also shudder when I hear "my childhood hero Peyton Manning". I'm too young to feel old, dammit.

Yeah, I started to feel real old when people like Phil Simms, etc. had kids playing college and now pro football. It really got to me when Husker players from my childhood started having kids on the current team.

as far as the obner tourney-for-cd's goes...if UCLA wins tonight, The Dreaded Marco wins the whole thing by 1 point over Nothingface.

If LSU wins, no one on the board will have picked a finalist.

Yeah, I need UCLA to win tonight. But, if they win tonight and beat Florida on Monday, I think Harry wins it---he has UCLA winning it all.

I could have swore that i heard Packer say that Noah made a great play due to his "long length". I guess it's a good thing he has long length and not short or medium length.

i guess I technically said as much the other day.

I can actually (sorta) root for UF hoops because I like Billy Donovan and all, but its still Florida...

I mean I openly root for Georgia Tech hoops but Florida is just too much. Some fucking hayseed from Waycross may come by the house and repo my diplomas.

many that guy Tyrus Thomas can jump. Totally raw but the Blazers should give this guy a look in the draft.

LSU has come out looking tight.

Better ease up or oldbullee's heart might explode before halftime
