This afternoon, I was honored to induct Colin as the newest member of The Fracturnity over some brews and potato skins (stuffed with venison, no less). I left my digital camera's cord at work, so I can't download the pics we took just yet, but I will definitely post them as soon as they are ready.

Colin's a magnificent lad with a hearty laugh and a brain the size of Sri Lanka. One day, he will run the world, and when that day comes, I will be happy. As for the details of our high-powered summit, that is a subject worthy of it's own thread...

Dammit, another secret handshake to worry about.

Yes, we sat in a pub where everything in sight was covered in a thick layer of deer antlers, even the bartender. The Bambi potato skins were delicious, by the way. FT and I exchanged the usual background information, and then spent most of the time discussing the rest of the Obnish. I sent him home with a bottle of a Mild Brown Ale that I brewed a while back. If we get together again over the New Year weekend, I'm going to hook him up with a bottle of IPA that I'm bottling tonight.

Note to KPH: I gave your bottle to my Dad, and he was pleased.

With every post announcing a new member, I grow sadder and sadder at my lost opportunity this past year.

:(

That's because you look too much like you, and not enough like your avatar...

Screw what Pavement said -- don't cut your hair. Grow it out.

Dee Snider is hot, man!

Oh OPA!, you constant flirt . . .

Like Bruce Banner, I have an alter ego, and he looks like this:

Now I want to see my alter ego standing next to FT's, if he'll hurry up. It should be funny, 'cause we're standing in front of a big painting of sparring stags.

I'll be returning home late Thursday night, so the pics should be posted on Friday. Sorry for the delay, all!

How'd you make me look like Jay Leno?

And I don't usually look so Poindexterish, but I had just been to church with my parents.

Thanks for posting these, Bob. I look forward to next time.
