Also, I would host a badass party on the 6th, but no one would come to the suburbs.

I mean this is all so sudden and I'd really like to hang out before you leave!

Moving probably in December, you've got time. I'm just making a scouting trip.

oh, ok. Jeez...I thought you were really leaving us for good in about a week!

I'll tell you all about it when I see you in person, promise.

Besides, we've got that recording bash at wall to wall in june... can't miss that.

speaking of which, you really ought to pimp that, i mean, advertise that here on the board so people within driving distance can make it if it interests them, cause i think it'll be hot.

Leaving for L.A. Friday afternoon and driving.

Ought to get there Sat. night, it's 30 hours, conservatively plus we have a two hour time zone change working in our favor so we're looking at 7-8 p.m. on Sat. night.

Think it's impossible? I've studied Cannonball Run I and II very carefully as well as Smokey and The Bandit, and this will be totally doable.

Which means, what meal do you want to get together for and have me cook for you? Are we thinking brunch on Sunday since no one's working?

Or dinner later in the week?

Or both?

Now is the time and here is the place to make your menu requests.

Love and other indoor sports,
Phil

this weekend is crazy busy for me, however- brunch on sunday sounds good. depends on what time though, though i'm not a morning person so i'll probably be lame and not wake up in time. but i'm down for dinner during the week. the only thing i have going on next week is jamie lidell on the 11th...

i'll pm you my #. and let me know if you want me to show you around town because i love doing that. :)

I'll be leaving l.a. the morning of the 15th...

the great thing about brunch is that it can totally have a 3 p.m. start time.

although by then it turns into brinner...

I don't think I've ever seen Phil post a picture of food or a recipe that didn't look great so I'm not gonna ruin this by trying to request something.

I think we may need to do Indian while he's in town whether its home cooking or out at Agra.

So is Sunday 3pm good for everyone? We could do an amoeba run afterward.

Anyone up for seeing Jon Brion on Friday the 14th at Largo? I think that's the only definite on our schedule so I want to make reservations beforehand.

I'm good for Sunday at 3pm. Lemme know what I should take -- maybe we could make mimosas or something.

As for the 14th, I can't make it. A couple of people and I are thinking of forming our own company and that's the night of our first meeting. If I get out early enough, I may be able to meet you kids after Largo for late night nosh or drinks.

isn't that indian spot near the troub pretty good?

sunday @ 3pm sounds good to me. i have a bunch of stuff to trade in for amoeba, so i'm down for that.

i'd be down for a show, but can't do the 14th- friend's birthday (EVERYONE'S b-day is in april, it's driving me nuts). and crap, my friend's band is playing spaceland that night too.

I don't know the spot you're talking about. Agra Cafe in Silverlake is pretty good though. I'm up for whatever though.

The place by the Troub is A Taste of India. But, if Billy and Phil are gonna be in Los Feliz, there's no need to go across town. 'Sides, I thought Phil was cooking? Did that change?

I'm going to Amoeba tomorrow. I saw one of the bandmembers from Tuesday's show sportin' an Amoeba bag. One of the members of 80's Matchbox Disaster was sportin' an Amoeba bag at SXSW. I wanna see how many sentences I can create with the word "Amoeba" in it.
