Good or bad?

http://www.myspace.com/therealwussy

My local indie cd store recommended them, but I wanted to do some research before I drop $12 on the disc.

On first listen...good. Not sure I dig the girl's voice yet, but I pretty much liked everything the Ass Ponys put out. Chuck Cleaver is always good for offbeat lyrics, though it might take a little while to get used to his voice.

This is also the absolute first time I've heard about this CD; thanks for the heads-up, TJ.

Viva Los Ass Ponys! Chuck Cleaver is a goddamn genius. I will buy this, probably in a few minutes. Do you have any Ass Ponys, Mr. 42?

Where the hell is FT on this joint?

Oh crap, there's new Ass Ponys recordings, too.

Ass Ponys - "Your Nothing Day"

Also, a new 2-disc remastered release of Mr. Superlove and Grim can be purchased here.

"He was born to a whore on a flophouse floor" is one of my favorite song openings.

You could probably pick up the whole catalog for $20 used.

I have no ass.
I have no pony.

I have never even heard the Ass Ponys. I thought FT would have been here by now.

Done deal. I just bought Wussy, the remastered and reissue Mr. Superlove and Grim from above and a Demo Disc from Beulah's Yoko.

Well, I listened to it at lunch today, and there are some good tracks, but I'd still much rather have a new Ass Ponys album. I hope they haven't broken up.

Great, but they're still about 10 short of a new album!

Had to bump this after I finally gave this album a listen. This is every bit as good as anything else I've heard this year. Talk about flying under the radar.
