Fuckin' a.

I'll be flying into Milan and taking a train to Piacenza where I'll sell the Magic cards. But then I'm gonna stay there for a week or so...

What should I do?!

What i'd really like to do is take a train over to Slovenia and spend most of my time there. I've had this thing for that country for years now, and this seems like a good time to scratch that itch. But I'll likely stay in Italy. Who's been to Milan? Should I go toward Genoa, or towards Venice?

Gimme ideas.

That sounds cool!
Did he say anything about wanting you to come back?
After you scratch that itch don't smell your fingers around OPA, he gets upset when you do that.

that's incredible. that stuff is kind of strangely popular here in aix. there's this cafe kind of place that always has kids in there playing this shit, and a bunch of them.

Do you deal in miniatures as well, or just cards? Not that I would be so geeky as to have an interest in miniatures, or ever know anything about Foundry and their line of pirates or nothing...certainly would never have painted any. Nope, not me.

So, no one´s been to northern Italy? Is that what I´m to understand?

Bill- No. We only do Magic cards. Is that Foundry stuff a WotC product as well? I know they do Star Wars and D&D miniatures, but I really know nothing about miniatures.

We sell lots of stuff to the French. Also two of the best players on the Pro Tour are a pair of French brothers. The French love the cards.

Foundry is independent, their minis are mostly historical.

If I new Magic Cards could get me a free trip to Italy, I never would've discovered girls.

ive been to milan and frankly wasn't all that much to see there. you could head up to lake como, the dolomites, etc. also not too far from venice.

we were just in florence and venice last fall. highly recommend both. florence (and tuscany) in general for the food/wine/beautiful countryside. venice because it's unlike anything you've ever seen.

You have no idea. When I was playing and travelling I was a small fry, but I still got to go to some cool places. But I know lots of people who´ve been all over this world because of this game; from Japan to Brazil, England to South Africa. It's pretty insane.

A buddy of mine also said I need to see Siena. That pic is gorgeous.

The plan now is to fly into milan do my thing for a day and then go over Venice where i'll be until I fly home. I only have from the 7th to the 12th to do anything. I just couldn't justify staying longer with how busy we are.

I pumped to see Venice. It's too bad I'm bringing one of my goober friends instead of a pretty woman to Venice with me...

The other night I was checking out Italian ( seems super easy. much easier than the chinese i'm studying now!) and it looks like Prego is the word to end all words. So I can just use this as a catchall for whatever people say to me, right? Like a one word language! Prego? Prego. Prego!

Prego is the word to end all words, the phrase to start all sentences.

Italy is far too romantic a country to travel alone, as I did, or with a goober.

I spent 3 days in Venice and loved it. I smoked hash and walked walked walked.

But if you're in Milan, Lake Como (see above) is real close. I would go there for a day or two, and then to Venice for the rest.

I just looked up stuff about Lake Como. It looks ridiculous. Good suggestion. Half hour from town? wow. Gah. I wish I had more time.
