If the Democrats somehow take over Congress in 2006, I think you'll see a strong possibility of impeachment, or at least moves towards censure.

you may be right that this will not lead to impeachment, but it is only because congress is run by W lackey crooks.

if there is a flip in 06, there may be action.

Let's just be fair and concede that the sweeping generalization that all Congressmen and women are crooks is true despite stated political party affiliations.

If you did that, you should also concede that breaking the law is breaking the law, blind to party affiliation as well. And you know damn well that will never happen.

I realize Capone was taken down for tax evasion, but I don't want Bush "censured" for frickin' wire tapping.

Dude manufactured an entire war that won't end and we want him for wiretapping?

Damn, I don't have the stomach for arguing Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld-Wolfowitz crap anymore.

There's at least a hundred more serious things I want this sumbitch to go down for.

Wiretapping has been done by all sides, forever. And people act like it's some new outrage.

It's a testament to the strength of the United States' capitalist philosophy and constitutional foundation that even when we install a boob such as Bush, the country still rocks harder and better than any other.

It's a testament to the Founder's foresight and the institutionalization of power.

Believe me, they designed the system to GRIND SLOW...and everyone out there should take a moment and give thanks for it.

God Damn, these guys are arrogant. When is McClellan going to resign? I heard he was the next guy to go. I always thought he was a real prick. Mike McCurry could be a real ass to the media, but at least he realized it was there job to cover the president and dig up as much shit as they could.
McClellan always seems to dodge even the weakest attempt at a critical question and is always so offended by them.

Did anyone see that clip of Bush being hounded by that critic in North Carolina last night. Bush responded by saying I guess I'm not your favorite person then.

there's another thread about that here.

McClellan's just doing his job, and I don't find him half as irritating as Fleischer was. Mostly I just feel bad for him because he's the asshole they send out to the bloodthirsty press (and male escorts) all the time now. It's not like he's making any policy or influencing decision. Shit, he can't even support his mom!

I'm getting sick of McClellan's bs too. I guess it's not unexpected, but the spin really is nauseating.

I often feel bad for ole Scott. Fleischer was 10X worse (or is it better? Depends on your point of view). The Press Secretaries job is not to inform the media anymore. It is simply the most visible spin tool.
