"Funeral" just came on KEXP and reminded me that I have finally gotten around to listening to the album. Gotta say that I really really dig it. The last song "St. Augustine" slays me. "Funeral" is a standout, and I don't remember one song on the album that I skip. Definitely hear the MMJ and BTS influences, but it's still pretty great.

I've heard it described as a cross between MMJ and The Shins, and I can definitely hear that, at least vocally.

It's a grower, but I have been listening to it for several months now and it never seems to take a grip in your conciousness like most great albums do. It's enjoyable, not all that original and definitely not earth-shattering, but having said all of that, I think it's a good record.
