Read on the beeb that there was some crazy shit going down weatherwise in the Nashville area. Discostu, anybody else we have in town doing alright? I was going to call my roommates but I ran out of minutes on my EuroLatina phone card last night. I hope everybody is alright...it sounds pretty nuts.

All good here. Quarter-sized hail and high winds, but Music Row didn't really get hit that badly. If you know anyone from the N/NE suburbs and SE/Murfreesboro area, you might want to give them a call. I took a drive out to Gallatin area to help clean up early this morning, and it is pretty well fucked. Cars from a Toyota dealership were just tossed all over the place (at houses, etc.).

It looks like a scaled-down version of New Orleans, honestly. I'm originally from Texas, and I've seen my fair share of nasty tornadoes, but that area is as bad as I've seen. I live on 17th and Horton, across from Sony/BMG. A friend of mine may actually be moving into where you used to live on Villa and Grand. And yeah, Murfreesboro got a good beating too. I have/had rehearsal space down there, and apparently my drum kit and amp are destroyed. That's what you get for keeping your shit in a corrugated sheet-metal building.

My bro-in-law and his brood live in Brentwood. This is the first I'm hearing of these stormnados. Did the Brentwood/Franklin area get hit very hard?
