How would you rank this in Prince's discography? I have most of his classics, and many reviewers seem to put Parade near the top of his second-tier albums. I know it has the single "Kiss," which in itself probably makes the album totally awesome.

It's one of my favorites. Maybe it doesn't hang together like the other big albums, but it's got a mess o' great songs: Kiss, New Position, Life Can Be So Nice, Mountains, Anotherloverholenyohead, Sometimes It Snows in April.

It's a tad paisley, but more than just a stroll in the park.

I think people write this album off too fast, and easily. In the Prince works, its probably the one I pull out the most. Perhaps its because I appreciate Under the Cherry Moon, or I dig the fact that Prince is so on at so many different styles. Its hard to listen to this and think that this, in fact, is the album before Sign O' The Times, which many consider one of his best.

I haven't heard this album is so long. I think all I've got left is an old cassette of it.
