Yeah, I know that's the football team's mascot. It's just so appropriate, though.

i didn't. i've always spent way too much money whenever tickets go on sale, and in the case of last care, I stopped getting excited about going to the games towards the end of the season. but, I always have plenty of friends that have tickets who have spares, so i'll be going to plenty this year. i wish I was there last night though. I just watched the games at my friend's place who lives right by wrigley.

Who wants to make a friendly wager that the Brewers finish ahead of the Cubs in the central at the end of the year? Terms yet to be disclosed.

Rule #1 for Cubs fans:
No matter how much you love the team, never, ever bet on them! In the end, it will only add insult to injury.

I haven't loved a Cub like I love Michael Barrett since Ryno.

The Cubs look good this year. I hope they do well

Beyond my personal fantasy baseball concerns, of course

if the cubs don't pull their regular "beat good teams, lose to crappy teams" thing against the reds this week, i'll be feeling pretty good.

Oh here we go...I love how the Cubs fans get so ballsy after their team sweeps the Cards. The Brewers are a much better team.

<-- Never been a ballsy Cubs fan.
Just a realistic (and therefore, sad) one.

has anyone used stubhub.com for tickets? my roommate was telling me that a friend of his got tickets to yesterday's cubs game for $20. i'm not sure where he sat, but i think that just getting into the park for $20 isn't a bad deal.

i would have taken the bet no matter how the cubs played this weekend. hey, at least your phillies got their first win of the season yesterday! way to go, phils! let's make it 2!

i haven't used it, but the few times that I've looked on that site the prices have been super high.

I would wager that the Phillies will have a better season than the Cubs. What say you?
