i used to lump Q.O.T.S.A. in with S.O.A.D. back when they were both relatively new bands and i hadnt ever really listened to either. Haha.

Though i would never buy a System record, i certainly don't hate them, i just find them a little scarey-looking. Hats off to them for at least doing more experimental stuff in the realm of popular metal/hard-rock than korn or slipknot or whatever other shit, even though i don't care much for it.

I consider System of a Down as more of a half-assed Mr. Bungle than a half-assed generic pop metal band.

if you took the 2 or 3 good songs off of every SOAD album
then you'd have an almost decent album
or a crappy mr. bungle metal album

i download this band whenever they put one out
if it wasn't for all the clunkers
i'd probably really dig them
