after this deployment I will be debt free as well, no credit card debt, no car payment. I question whether or not I should pay off my college debt as well. Right now I have it drawn from my checking account every month. The interest on my college is really low as well, like 4% or something like that, what ever the rate is for a Perkins loan.

4% is dirt cheap money-. You get better interest on Treasuries. Student loan interest is also tax deductible. I'd hold on to that one, and stick your surplus cash in a Roth IRA.

That's what I do, too. But mine's an Amazon Visa - I get a $25 Amazon gift cert every few months.

Same here, that card rocks.

Yessir...I got sick of not getting free shit from my credit card, so I moved from Citibank to Amazon/Chase a couple years ago. I've got a buddy who has a Sony card, & he was able to get free DVD players for his relatives at Xmas a few years ago ( back when DVD's players were more than a hundred bucks ) .

BTW - you seem to know a lot about $$$ for a punk. :P
