Stick with boxers. Briefs suck and boxer briefs are only slightly more comfortable than briefs.

If you're concerned about looks, boxer briefs, all the way. This is so obvious and IMHO true for most physiques.

boxer briefs are the best of both worlds.
Old Navy has the softest ones. My nuts love them.

Every time I go to buy underwear there always seems to be a 16 year old girl at the till. I therefore put the underwear back, slink out of the shop and hope relatives buy me some at Christmas.

But, that's the best time to buy underwear, because you know she knows where they're going, and what's going to be there. So, you make (awkward? pshaw! try trashily classy) idle conversation with her, all the time she is handling your drawers to scan the bar-code, put them in the bag, etc. Maybe you even score a date for chips, and drinks. Y' know?

Briefs are only for little boys. And by little I mean like my 7 yr old who wears them a lot.

Do boxer briefs provide any support? Wouldn't I want some support? What's going to happen after having my balls be tossed from side to side for decades? I have a couple of boxer briefs, but they act more like boxers, since they're stretched out for some reason.

I didn't end up buying any. Small sizes are hard to come by.
