It took me a month and a half to lose anything when I first started. I don't know what kept me on it, really. Except for the fact that I was, like, super wicked fat and ready to do something about it.

My point is, in order for it to work, you have to make it stick, even if you're not getting results at the time.

I could send my henchmen over with their handy cutting torch. Take off all the weight you want. Quick.

Good Luck Chris, I admire you for this.

Oh and my former mother in law did WW several years ago and it really worked for her. I think there are more success stories of people on WW then any other diet/excercise plan.

I actually have a phobia of gyms. I feel they are only for the beautiful people. hehe

After this kid pops out, I may have to force myself to join the one across the street though. I'm already itchin to get my body back.

I'm losing weight by walking 100 miles over the Western Highlands. Should take about 8 days if the weather is decent.

Leave 2nd June.

Good luck. Spring/Summer is a great time to start a diet. If your local YMCA (not as many hard bodies there) has a pool, swimming is a great way to lose weight.

im down 2lbs in the last week. goal is 15 more....

portion control (beating a dead horse) is the best way to go. dont deny yourself food you like, just eat much less of it.

no no, it's not like I go to a gym or anything, I just do a bunch of situps and pushups and drink a huge glass of water every day before lunch. Then when I get home I do some more situps and a few pullups (usually when i'd be sitting in front of the TV anyway. IT's what I call "the Izzy Mendelbaum" regime. I'm not really losing waight, but I'm turning it into muscle, at least. I have no desire to look like an abercrombie model, just to be in somewhat decent shape. I like my beer gut, damnit.

In theory I'd like to start running before I got to work in the morning, but that's a total pipe dream.

You misunderstood Cotton. I was visualizing you doing sit ups and push ups. All sweaty and stuff...yummy!

I can assure you there is nothing yummy about it. I sit in an abandoned theater grunting and trying not to think about getting BBQ next door. Come to think of it I should really just listen to music while I'm doing that...

You mean a second spot? Maybe a bump from my previous position?

I'm sure i'm not the only one trying to gain weight. I should be able to start working out a bit more now that i'm settled in my new place.

Do you think I could just give you the rest I'm trying to lose? I'm sure there's some sort of deal to be made here.

It depends what type of weight you'd be giving me.
