I like that Rose and Bernard finally got a show. Will they now be listed as cast, or are they still guest stars?

Hopefully Rose helped Locke regain some of his awesomeness from season one.

I agree with Bernard. I liked Eko better when he just hit people with his stick, too.

While it was a fairly weak episode for the most part, that line and "Union trouble down at the sand factory, Norma Rae?" made the entire hour worthwhile.

Sawyer is gold, Jerry, GOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought it was a boring episode but at least it didn't do anything to piss me off. I wanted more Henry Gale and Locke and less building a sign out of rocks.

It wasn't that bad, guys. Definitely a step down from a few weeks ago, but a couple of key things happened. Plus we got some insight into two characters we knew nothing about.

And after their inane backstory, I wish I STILL knew nothing about them. I can't look at Bernard without wanting him to reprimand Mike Seaver.

And Rose's situation shines a light on some things. The island makes people stronger? It healed Locke and Rose up upon arrival and it would explain why Ethan moved like a super-soldier when he was kicking Jack's ass. So is it making everyone stronger and the rest of the castaways just haven't really noticed it affecting them?

I'm wondering if this island-empowerment isn't going to play into why the Others, as Michael says in the preview, are "barely armed."

Did anyone think the thank-you note that Rose looked at in the healer's place was something we should be paying attention to? They paused on it a long time and it seemed like we were supposed to make note of it or something.

It was kind of annoying, but I think at least parts of it needed to be told. They probably didn't need their own episode, but there have been worse ones.

It's not a competition, J. Kind of like the AFC East.

Why did they really give up Michael, though?

1) Gale is even more important to "them" than we know. Maybe even "He"?
2) They want to find out just how much info Gale spilled.
3) They want Michael to lead them down a path toward head-knocking.

I wonder if Micheal even saw Walt while he was there?

There was no indication that they ever "had" Michael. I think he was just doing recon.

I didn't realize the note was from Walt... that's sweet. I can't wait to find out more about his superpowers.

Well it looked like somebody roughed him up. Did he still have his gun?

dunno about the gun, and he definitely looked worse for the wear, but that may have just been from being alone in the jungle for a few weeks. i'm sure we'll know more soon.

We didn't get the preview here. They paved over it with an O.C. commercial. What'd they show?

I don't think they had Michael. Beardy said back during their last confrontation not to worry about Michael because they don't want him and they'd never let him find them.

What thank you note? I totally missed that. One of the notes on the wall in that guy's hut was from Walt? Rose wouldn't have remembered that much, though. I'm surprised she remembered Locke was in a wheelchair.

How would he know that they were "barely armed" otherwise? I mean he obviously found them.
