Yeah, I just watched this about a week ago and it has not held up well IMO. I barely cracked a smile on most of the stuff.

I remembered it being the funniest shit ever when it first came out. Could be that it's been so copied by just about every black comedian to come after him that it seemed watered down or tame even.

basically Raw is Murphy revealing his coke-fueled paranoia about persecution and fame and rehashing some of the best moments of Delirious. I watched it like 6 years ago and flipped it off like 30 minutes in. Just wayyyyyy too depressing to watch.

it's the fact that he's just bitter and angry and offensive without anything about the offensivness being interesting. He's awesome, but this particular stand up set doesn't hold up at all.
