If my parents had access to the web in the early 80's, I wonder if they would have posted pictures of me and said that I'm the coolest person in the world.

Dad wouldn't have posted a pic of me, but he still carries a picture of me as a baby in his wallet, where I'm getting a bath in a sink. He actually pulled it out and showed it to some people when I was back in Atlanta for his birthday. So while I doubt my dad would call me the "coolest person in the world," I'm sure I'll always be referred to as "his baby girl." ;)

That's so cute that your dad has a baby picture of you in his wallet! Are you his only daughter?

My dad has a sixth grade photo of me in his wallet. Before that, it was my second birthday photo. My mom still has a photograph of me with my high school/college bf in her purse. She didn't even take it out while I was married to a guy who was not the dude in the picture.

Biologically, yes. My mom was married prior to him to her highschool sweetheart, and had my two sisters with him. But my dad adopted my two sisters when he married my mom, so for all intents and purposes, he has three daughters.

I don't know, I guess as a whole it worked on the 5 kids. We sort of stick out as a family.

Kids are the most wonderful pains in the ass. Me and SHEFRAC are in discussions to adopt Maddox Jolie's sister, who got left behind in Cambodia. No, but we are probably going to try and adopt a Mexican baby girl. SHEFRAC is so old now, her insides have become a rocky place where my seed can find no purchase. Actually, she got the good-old tubal ligation/c-section 2-for-1 special back when my youngest progeny was shot out of her baby hole. Saved me from the dreaded snip-snip, yes she did!

np: The Beatles - "Love You To" (no doubt to be covered by The Bon Savants upon KPH's return from India)

May have saved you FT, but your procedure is reversible... I don't think hers is.

Exactly, which is why adoption is our only option. That, or me impregnating Mary Kay Place.

I had no idea you had a thing for Mary Kay Place. Adoption is good, and I'm glad you guys are doing it!

Yuck! That was just a stupid Big Chill joke.

Now, Mary Kay Ash? I'd tear that shit up!
