I know it has it's fans round here. I wish i had got into this last year, totally woulda made my top 10. I passed over it not giving it the listens it deserves. It's just about the definition of a grower. Its got such a great meloncholic vibe to it, one review said it was a hybrid of country and inner city feelings, which sounds about right. Anyway, I love this now.

"mr november" is probably the best last song on any 2005 album. and it's one of the best songs i've heard performed live over the last year.

and yes, this is totally a grower. i didn't even like "abel" when i first heard it, but now it's played all the time in my home.

This is one of the few albums that has EVER 'grown' on me. And now its played all the damn time -- Dumjack, whenever you get up and around, I'll hit with it. I think you'll enjoy.
