 Post subject: Even years are better for music than odd years

What do you think? I always find that even years get me so much more excited about music. It seems like more of my favorite bands are on programs where they are set to release albums in even numbered years...Wilco Radiohead Flaming Lips for example. Well not Radiohead's last two. Any theories on why this is? Or maybe it's not? I just feel like so many more people are excited by so many more albums at this time of year in 2006 as opposed to 2005.

There was a nice three-year pattern 96-99-02 until 05.

Great odd years:
1999
1991
1967

that's true about 96-99-02...is it a coincidence that a wilco album came out each of those years? i think not

but yeah, 96 and 02 are two that i think of when i hypothesize something like this.

2000 and 2003 were sick. 2002 was pretty sick. Don't forget about 2002.
