yes, it exists. i tried it, but you need a non nt kernel version of windows (read, 95/98/me) to get it to work. i should have a copy of 98 around somewhere i can use for it.

This board is pretty unreadable in Lynx.

i just cant be bothered. windows is so much easier to get running properly, although ubuntu is getting close these days. getting the nvidia drivers to work is a huge pain in the ass, though there is an open source driver out thats much, much easier to set up. ive been getting back into linux though. i just downloaded the first release candidate for suse 10.1, and will give that a try. i still love ubuntu though, mostly because its package management system is unrivaled.

yeah, i'm kind of the same. if some problem arises in linux that pisses me off sufficiently, i'll go off it for awhile. then when i feel like a hypocrite, i'll come back. but i've really enjoyed Suse 10 overall, and i think the package management is pretty solid, although i still can't get it to find the latest versions of some apps.

my only real problem with suse is the need to download 5 cds. thats just ridiculous, especially when there are lots of distros out there that do fine with 1. btw, ive been checking into the suggestion i made about an alternative to phpbb, and the one i suggested doesnt offer conversion tools from other forum software, meaning that we'd need to pull a cmj and have the old forum and the new forum, and we'd also need to have everyone re-register. that really sours the deal from my perspective, but its up to you.

that is a bit deal-souring, although it might not be impossible to write/find a script that will merge the DBs.
