It's called "Google Bombing". The same thing was done, with a different person for the phrase "total failure".

While it is funny, it's also a bit immature and underhanded. Doesn't sit well with me, even if I do agree with the sentiment.

but it was a pretty even-handed bio. It's not like they were attacking him. That's why I thought it was so odd.

it's just the association, cotton. like a bunch of people create a link that goes miserable failure and eventually Google most closely associates the phrase with the president's bio.
