Ten days left and I still haven't changed my list for a third time. The second try is going to stick, I know it. I'm not even going to think about those other three albums I would like to put on the list. Nope. Not me. I'm decisive. That's me, decisive stacey. Yep. I won't break. Oh no.

Seriously, I think the Espers, Bark Psychosis, Dead Texan, Ghostface, and probably a few others could end up in my Top 20, but I just don't have time to listen to them enough. Downloading all that stuff at the last minute has really made my list-making way too hard.

Do you recall if we had more submissions at this time last year? I'm wondering how the Obner/CMJ split might affect the turnout.

Yeah, I left off a few that probably would've made it, but I don't have time to listen to a few albums. My ears are stuffed full enough as it is...

I don't have 20 discs worthy.
I have about 12, and then another 20 that i don't want to promote with a vote.

Do I have to put discs in my top 20, even if I don't think they are so great, even if they were technically one of the top 20 cd's that i heard from 2004?

I'll have mine done this weekend. I had to wait for a few discs to come in the mail and now that they have and that they've been heard-I can make my list a little easier.

That is soooooo funny.

I’m getting closer and just cutting things now because it’s impossible to hear everything. I have no idea how some people do it.

I’m thinking about opening up a web site this year, if I can do it for free. Need to look into that soon. I send my list off every year to my friends thru e-mail with a short review, rant or rave so why not improve upon that?

About 75 out of 130 or so for 2004. Another great year for music!
