Yeah, so during our historic summit meeting today, Colin and I decided that all of you will be coming to Austin this March 16 - 20 during SXSW for the 1st Annual Obner All-Skate. We're going to see if we can get Trevor (babe) to join forces with Colin (Chuck D) for additional backyard camping space.

I know the Dirty Southerners (LooGAR, Bloor, Derris, et. al.) plan on invading the capital of Tejas with their infamous brand of Hotlanta mongering, and none of you wants to miss that! This is going to be the biggest board gathering since the CMJ BB Fest at that church in Chicago a couple of years ago.

My brother is stationed at Ft. Hood and I have 5 weeks paid vacation at my new job, so I might have to look into SXSW.

By the way, Kyle, "All-Skate" refers to the old days of roller rinks, when the DJ would lift the ban on couple-less (single) skaters he had imposed during couples only skating. An all-skate simply means everyone will be there.

I would love to go, but that's the timeframe that I'm not allowed to take any vacation (boss will still be on maternity leave). I'll have missed it by a week or so. Either way, I'm planning on going to Ireland and Scotland in late March/early April and need to save my nickels for that.

I'm thinking about this.... my older sister is already going and already has a hotel booked. If the finances are right, I could be coming along, but things are stretched pretty thin right now, and I can't commit to anything at this time.
