Usually an album has some merit if it gets you guys this stirred up. I need to check it out, although I didn't think Jet was anything special beyond a couple casual listens.

don't bother.

I feel i am qualified to speak on this topic moreso than most people here, simply because Wolfmother have been pretty big here for at least two years now. All i can say is, out of everyone i know with good music taste who liked them a couple of years ago, none of them still take Wolfmother seriously. They're just another Jet to everyone now.

You guys will understand in a few months time when its all sunk in and you realise a band like this can't possibly have any longevity.

jesus, you're annoying.

oh wow triple j still exists?

Yeah, despite the government's attempts to kill the ABC its still there.

There's still a couple of good programs, and it does give some really deserving bands national exposure, but on the whole its quality control continues to drop, probably in an attempt to attract more listeners and justify its existence in the funding proposals.

I finally got ahold of this album and I think it's pretty good. Nothing revolutionary but still an entertaining listen.

Fuck, I'll take Jet's nutless rip-off of the Stones and ACDC over Wolfmother's modern rawk rip-off of Black Sabbath and Led Zep. Anyday.

Radcliffe, run away! I agree with you... I doubt that's a good sign.

the obvious answer to this question is that wolfmother has the word wolf in its name.

When did you switch brains with Chuck Klosterman?
