Keane have revealed the artwork for their eagerly awaited second long player called Under The Iron Sea which will be released on June 12th .

The artwork is by Finnish artist Sanna Annukka Smith which is influenced by Finnish folk art. The follow up to the multi-million selling Hopes and Fears has the following track list?

In 2004 Keane were catapulted into the mainstream consciousness with their stirring and majestic take on the epic-indie sound that had already proved successful for the likes of Snow Patrol, Coldplay and Embrace. Infamous for their distinct lack of guitars in favour of delicious slabs of synth-rock and piano-driven indie brilliance, Keane are now back with their sophomore album, 'Under The Iron Sea'.

i have a real soft spot for anthemic, U2'ish, stadium rock. and damnit, this is good.

i enjoyed Keane's debut album, as well as their early demo's. good to see them pick up the pace, and almost bring in a slight dance element. absolutely LOVE the bassline in this, and Tom's voice sounds amazing.

this has me well stoked for the album now.

I love how Blunt looks like Merry from Lord Of The Rings while sounding like Charlie Drive Shaft gone solo (Pippin).

It was the creepy, intimate, whispy stage presence that made me recoil in terror. Dude looked so nervous / fruitloopy it was painful. Maybe that wasn't representative of the whole story. But in this fast-paced, work-a-day world, sometimes one shot is all you get from me.

Perfect Symmetry is the third studio album by English piano rock band Keane, to be released on October 13, 2008 in the United Kingdom.
The album's title was released on July 31, 2008. The band have completely transformed their look and their new album is said to be also very unexpected. According to international Island Records manager, Jon Turner, the general international feel is of excitement and "Spiralling" is a favourite track of the US company. As of August 26, "Better Than This", "The Lovers Are Losing", "Spiralling" and "Love Is The End" have been broadcast.

The cover for the album was revealed on September 5. Tim Rice-Oxley explained that the imagery of the band are photographs of bigger than life-size sculptures of the band members, made by Korean artist Osang Gwon. It was implied that these sculptures will form the basis of the album's image and promotion up to the date of release.
