we were offered a show there for a friday night in feb and i want to add another band, but if it's too small, or there's no pay likely involved for the bands, then i wouldn't offer it to a band that has a label and whatnot.

its listed on one website along with venues i know like the mercury and luna lounges.

so i figure its got a small narrow bar in front with a smaller stage in back.

but its probably good exposure.

So probably Plaid would not be a okay place for a label band, Kevin.

From that picture, it doesn't look like a venue at all. It looks like a lounge with a DJ or something.

Hey Jerk. Are you in The Go Station? They're pretty good.

Is it just a coincidence that you're here trying to be subtle about a band who's playing at Plaid on Jan 7th?

Hmmm...?

KPH,

Plaid is ca-razy. It seems to function mostly as, like, a straight-up nightclub where fabulous people go to party and drink very expensive bottles of whatever the hell fabulous people drink. There's a room in the back, though, which is definitely a really good size for a mid-level band. I've only seen one show there (a friend's band, who was playing with Rye Coalition), but the sound was good.

So yeah, the club itself is huge. The room where you'd be playing, though, is probablya little smaller than the Mercury Lounge
