For those that care - about a few months ago, i posted a thread about me purchasing a road bike + what to get.

anyway, this is the beast that i bought. i love it. just got it on monday. went on two 30 mile group rides this week.

Sweet! Cannondale makes good bikes, and they have a good warranty (I used it several times w/ a Jeckyl mtb I used to have).

What color did you opt for?

I need to buy a road bike at some point but I already feel like I've neglected my mtb bikes as of late. Hoping next week I'll have some time to get on them and ride.

If and when I get a roadie I'm gonna go either Independent or Vulture Cycles. That way I can specialize the specs. I hate paying an exorbinant fee for less than great components.

this was my 2nd choice after the Lemond Reno.

Sweet. If I didn't have to dodge Chicago potholes, I was seriously considering this bike, loved the way it rode.

Liked their cyclocross too.
