I seem to recall someone mentioning a good, free virus scanner, but I can't find the old thread. Anyone?

Here's one that scans your computer with theirs. No installation necessary.

This one took care of a worm that I had a couple years ago that Norton could not handle.

I use Avast! and have no complaints.

Anti-Vir and AVG seem to be the other two popular, reliable choices.
