Bulls have no answer for Shaq, but I love the way the rest of our team matches up

For some reason, everyone seems to think the Spurs are going to beat the Kings in the first round... :?

My upset special: Kings in 7

Bolder predictions:

Detroit wins it all losing only 5 games or less through entire playoffs.
Whoever wins PHX - LA wins the West

Please don't let the Pistons or Spurs win again.

Bulls are staying right with the Heat so far. This should be a good series.

This is exactly how I feel. I could really careless about the NBA, except for Steve Nash, but I'd actually watch the finals if neither the Pistons/Spurs were in the finals.

Might want to focus on baseball, if you'd like to avoid disappointment. It's gonna be those two again in The Finals, barring some sort of "Deep Impact" scenario. Of course, in that case, there won't be any Finals at all.

How'd that work out for ya this afternoon? Happen to see that 34-point annihilation eminating from the Alamo City yesterday? Yeah, that's what I THOUGHT!!!

ha ha bob...you kicked the ass of an 8th seed. congrats. one great game and they're a championship calibur squad again to you. If they lose the next game, you'll be saying Duncan's washed up.

Whoever comes out of the west is going to lose to detroit in 4 or 5 games so I'm not going to get too wrapped up in it. Lakers merely making the playoffs was a moral victory.

I didn't say lakers were going to get to the finals by the way. I said the winner of PHX - LA would make it to the finals and I assume that PHX will win the series. I think the lakers will play them tough though. There's little chance that PHX gets that kind of play from Thomas the rest of the way and Kobe should play better.

I 100% agree, though it might MIGHT go 6. Regardless of how good they looked against that 8 seed yesterday, I have no delusions whatsoever that the Spurs can beat the Pistons. But, I will enjoy the ride until they do finally get derailed in Motown.
