This song is such an ear worm, I couldn't get it out of my head on a bike ride yesterday.

Is the rest of this disc as good?

For them what are curious, here's some of what we got to ride thru yesterday in NorCal. At the top, we had to slog thru snow, and at the bottom was pristine singletrack. Image

I heard maybe 2 or 3 others in concert a little while back from the new disc, and all were good. One was very country, and that's all I really remember.

I'm looking forward it coming out. With great relish.

I don't think so, no. Just the single.

I'm actually a little surprised we have some Guster fans on here.
They played the University of Nebraska spring concert we held earlier this month, and most people I knew were disappointed by the program council's selection.
I haven't really heard anything by them, but they and their management seemed nice and did alot of the stuff on their own for the show.

Love Guster.

And not just because they did a "live on ice" album from Maine.

Power pop goodness.

One of my favorite bands, totally. They're great pop, so therefore I dig it.

New album comes out in June. And I like the new song pretty good.

anyone else on this board that was in the "fan club" circa parachutes where we got a baseball card ("guster badge") - and could get into free for any show?

they nixed this once their major label debut came out......

They don't break down any barriers, which some people need more than others. They just make really good pop music.

Ganging Up on the Sun comes out June 20th.

Wrecking Machine's the first single. The b-side, another album track, is right here:

The New Underground

I believe that's all that's readily available as of now.

and you guys make fun of me for liking Collective Soul...

I really liked Guster's last album but the one (or 2) before that didn't grab me.

In case anyone wants another way to hear this song, Guster has it posted on their MySpace profile as well.

I forgot I had two others from the new album. They're not the final mix but they're decent.

Manifest Destiny / Sorority Tears [rough mix]

Dear Valentine [live]

For the album MD is going to have the instrumental ST cut off from the end.

I like about a third of Collective Soul's songs quite a bit. Sometimes their harder rockin' tracks are generic, but their purty tunes are awesome.
