I see many, many people wearing these, and I cannot understand how a child, even less so a self-respecting ADULT, would leave the house wearing them.

aside from the obvious Triple Pleat Khakis, knit polo and cell phone clip, croakies, and popped collars, what else are we witnessing that approaches criminal when it comes to fashion?

you can thank boulder, colorado for the awful croc phenomenon. they've been around for 3 or 4 years now here. i'm glad it's spreading to the rest of the country now.

wait until you start seeing families all wearing the same color. so cute.

I wear Crocs in house lounging mode. Outside, no.

I have a personal aversion for grown men dressing like boys with sporty type gear, polos, etc.

I also cannot wear gym shoes for any other reason except working out. Which I never do.

crocs are great for yard work, mowing the lawn, etc.

but they should never, ever be worn in public.

Yeah, I recently joined a gym and bought a new pair of "cross trainers" that I guarantee will never get dirty because the only outside wear they get is between my truck and the front door of the gym.

Ahhh, crocs.

I am forced to abstain from commenting, as I know someone who has a pair or three.

Sweatpants/sweatsuits on adults. OK on, you know, athletes, but not on lazy fat tools. You're fat: you must face the consequences of belts and non-elastic waistbands.

I apologize in advance to fat people.

I've never heard of crocs and kind of wish I had remained blissfully unaware of their existance.

This is the single bigget abortion of taste and decenty happening right now. If I could, I would blow up the factory. They've been around LSU for about 3-4 years and now they're moving down here.

Yikes. I had no idea. I guess it will infest our fratboy population in a matter of weeks.

What about sporting the Golf Pullover (you know, the one with the tasteful little Masters logo in one corner, and the v-neck...) to places other than golf courses.

Those look perfect for working in a kitchen, to tell you the truth. For style. No. But for standing for 15 hours a day. Yes.

I'd say 90% of the men who live near where I teach dress like high school coaches. And only 75% of them really are.

I own and wear Crocs. I wear them around the house and for yard work because they are comfortable as shit and all you have to do is slip em on.

And they're black. Like Loog.
