I have a co-worker friend who has foot/arch issues, and her podiatrist recommended she wear the Crocs, just because there's no heel to it, and it keeps your foot relatively flat. She doesn't like wearing them, but she wears the black ones to work.

One of my pet peeves: amateur bike riders (I certainly include myself in this category) who insist on wearing team "kits" while riding. It's irrational I know, but if you're not on a cycling team, don't wear a team jersey.

I also don't like the resurgence of the long "peasant-style" skirt that seems to be popular-- wrinkly cotton, with panels.

ah ha ha, I just saw two assholes sporting that look a few nights ago. And they both had on t shirts with motorcycle gear logos, like Alpinestars (boots/jacket manufacturer) etc. The whole look screamed "I do wheelies on my crotch rocket outside the mall food court.

I own and wear Crocs. I wear them around the house and for yard work because they are comfortable as shit and all you have to do is slip em on.

And they're black. Like Loog.

My sister, her husband, and their kids have those croc shoes. I've tried to deliver the appropriate level of scorn/fashion disapproving reaction to maintain politeness while forcefully discouraging them as a gift idea for me. I fear though that I've not been scornful enough and that I'll still receive a sea blue, orange, yellow or red pair as a birthday or christmas present this year.

I would imagine wearing shit-kickers when doing yard work, if I had a yard.

I either wear ECCO skateboarding shoes or my work boots depending on the job.

Unless you've worn em John Deer, you won't get it. If you saw my yard, you'd understand.

I've never heard of crocs and kind of wish I had remained blissfully unaware of their existance.

They look like those shoes lil' Euro kids wear.

Ok, how bout this: When travelleing overseas, leave the flag spangled gear at home. This may be excused when you go to the FIFA world cup, but otherwise, no go.

They've been big here for at least 5 years. I've got black ones. I hate the obnoxious colored ones. They're great for washing the dog, yard work, etc. I have worn them out for errands and on the boat. They're useful.
(edit: couldn't have been 5yrs as company is only 4)

But beware, CROCS now have sandals and they're just as hideous.

I always hated those fratboy/jock Addidas flipfop slippers that everyone and their brother has.

They look way better than those Addidas flipfop slippers that everyone and their brother has.

I remember we talked about this last summer and I got a LOT of heat about my doc sandals, which were, at that point, nearly 12 years old and still hangin' in. I'm sad to report they didn't survive last summer and am now searching for new ones or something similar. I just can't see myself wearing those thong or Nike type sandals. I'd look like a weirdo.

Jayzus. Some Obnoids wear CROCS? I've been seeing those things around for a couple years now, but I thought they were only worn by hillbillies and stinkers from the Sunshine Coast.

Live and learn.

They make Crocs for men?!? If a dude is thinking of buying those he should probably just put on a dress while he's at it.

and these baggy, drawstring pants are just as bad as sweatpants, if not worse, because of the ugly prints/patterns on them.
