This was my first thought. Why a self-respecting man would don Nouveau Jellies is beyond me.

wtf is wrong with japanese? i would say out of majority of people, they have the most style.

and sorry i'm guilty of #1 because i'm too damn broke to spend $200 on jeans and i hate going to the mall to shop. i rather find a cute vintage tee or skirt for $8 then buy some overpriced piece of crap from the dept. store.

i never heard of crocs and never do i want to speak of those things again.

my biggest fashion pet peeve: girls who wear ugg boots in LOS ANGELES where it NEVER snows and it's 88 degrees outside.

what. the. f*ck.

Lakers aren't Germans. They're Angelenos.

You stand correct. I was simply alluding to the report of a college classmate who had studied -- twice; once in high-school, once in college, each time for year -- in Germany. He said that the German coverage of the NBA was two games a nite -- the Mavs (b/c of Dirk), and the Lakers -- or one if the Mavs played the Lakers.

I counted the crocs that I saw on the way to dinner and in a 10 minute walk I saw 3, and one of them was the damn orange ones.

tucked in shirt with no belt

white socks with black shoes

flowery hippy skirts/dresses - very common around here

t shirts with anything about 420 or hemp

aside from the obvious Triple Pleat Khakis, knit polo and cell phone clip, croakies, and popped collars, what else are we witnessing that approaches criminal when it comes to fashion?

oh my god. i always thought those were orthopedic shoes.

wow, why in the hell would you wear those if you didn't have to?

But ayah, I've bought us matching "coral" pairs.

The only thing I can think of right now is wearing jean-on-jean (jean jacket with jeans). Rarely can this be done and look okay, in my opinion.

All of the women in my extended family (7 of 'em) plus one 2 year old boy are now wearing either Crocs or fake Crocs. Yeesh.

At least one of these women owned a pair of Earth Shoes 30 years ago. Somehow, I think these facts are related.
