and it's awesome.

I'm taking a vacation in Maine right now, to visit my wife's family, and it is wonderful. I miss snow so much. This is great. I won't be around the board much until the twelfth.

it was supposed to snow here (maybe) but no...also say possible snow for the next 4 -5 days but I doubt it will happen. damn weatherpeople never get snow right around here.

It's snowing like a biatch in Vancouver today too. Usually only happens once a year, so nobody bothers with snow tires. Needless to say, it's total chaos out on the roads right now.

10 inches in Chicago yesterday and this morning. I'm going skiing in dairyland this weekend.

The snow's supposed to reach Caribou by tonight, but we'll miss the nastiness that most of New England's already gotten.

It's been a weird winter so far. The temperature will be 50 degrees one day and 10 below the next night sometimes.

Ha! I just walked around at lunch and everyone is spinning out with their summer times. For a kid whose from the north and grew up driving on snow, this cracks me up. It's stopped snowing now, and it's getting slushy, which when it freezes again tonight will turn to ice just in time to get snowed over again during the night. oooh boy!

Anyway, they moved it back from Saturday-Sun-Monday to like Tuesday-Wed-Thu.

I really hope it does snow though.

it is hardly even showing in the mountains - if we don't get some snow soon we will be in trouble this summer.

but damn is it cold. well, yesterday.

today sucked. snowing all morning then sleet, then rain and cold. and i was out in it the whole time.

It was nearly a blizzard here this afternoon. It was so bad I went home early. Tomorrow isn't going to be much better.

I'm enjoying it right now.

As far as weather, i spent an hour and ten minutes digging my truck out of plowed snow that was on top of a 2 inch layer of solid ice.

I thought about skipping work entirely, but i figured the money would be nice on the off chance that CPS actually pays me someday.

my street hasn't been plowed at all, but now i don't think that's so bad. i only spent 20 minutes digging out my car. and it's definitely navigable, just a little slippery. the bad part, though, is that i've misplaced my nice gloves. and i'm sure paying for it now.

It snowed here in Vegas today, for crissake.

It's cold and stuff, but it sure is nice to watch.
