Hell yeah.

And I just got an e-mail from Peter Mulvey's management. The Madison show tomorrow is cancelled, and will be rescheduled... date TBA. Want to do the guitar browsing/show going at that later date with Busty and Pete?

Uhh, I'm open to whatever. But I'll be headed east around the 15th.

This mean you're not coming up, then?

Are you certified to teach anything other than music? If so, the jobs are available, you just need some contacts. Louisiana was (before Katrina) dying to get good teachers. Somehow, though, I don't think you want to come here.

Eventually, but we're gonna save the gas for when he plays.

When does that internship start? I've got a gig on the 16th. You gotta be there Mon. the 22? If that's the case, whaddya say to the 17th or 18th? The drive should take one day, it's 16-17 hours from chicago.

I'd love to help you out, and right now, i'd really love to not be in that fucking school, but I ought to take as few days as possible...

He would also need a work visa to teach outside of the United States were he to come there.

Music k-12. If i could figure out what degree to get to make the most $ with the least amount of work that I wouldn't gouge my eyeballs out doing... I'd do that, bag the music, and start enjoying myself. Or something.

I mean, this sucks. But you were posting from the classroom before, "Fuck these kids." Probably for the best in a very sick way. I think gar is right...something bigger is at work here. and it's not often that i say things like that.

Damn, Phil. Hopefully CPS will be better about your last check than other income sources.

How was St. Louis anyway? Did you find the apartment key?
