Might want to focus on baseball, if you'd like to avoid disappointment. It's gonna be those two again in The Finals, barring some sort of "Deep Impact" scenario. Of course, in that case, there won't be any Finals at all.

Only if you don't appreciate fundamentals. As much as I enjoy watching someone like Steve Nash throwing alley-oops to anyone and everyone in Phoenix, i get just as much enjoyment out of watching perfect ball movement, interior footwork, tight defence, and hard-fought rebounding. I guess that comes from playing basketball my whole life; I enjoy the little things. Still, there is nothing better than seeing a huge dunk over a seven footer.

This is exactly how I feel. I could really careless about the NBA, except for Steve Nash, but I'd actually watch the finals if neither the Pistons/Spurs were in the finals.

Got-damn. You ought to be thankful that you're not Charli. Otherwise, Billz would be on your ass for such as the above.

Artest just got suspended for Game 2 of SA-SAC, so I'm guessing the line for tomorrow night's game just inched up to something like Spurs by 45.

This thread needs a poll. "Best playoff beard: Lebron, Ilgauskas, or Gasol?"

Gasol in a LANDSLIDE. The Spanish neckbeard trumps all.

The Bucks are being carried by an Australian ROOKIE. Someone else better step up.

Kobe's not far off from a triple double at the moment.

yeah, what is with that "its not a travel if a black man takes three or more steps before a shot/dunk" rule that has popped up in the last ten or so years?

Damn, the Bucks put a beatdown on the Pistons tonight after alot of the NBA analysts were saying they couldn't win a game.

The Bulls are clinging to a two point lead over the Heat. It is 78-76, with 5:13 left. I bet the winner barely scores 90.

The '06 Bulls remind me of the '04 Heat. Scrappy fuckers. Heat in 6.

Dem finals just got interesting.

Kobe is showing Nash where he can stick that ridiculous MVP award.

Suns are definitely out, and Spurs aren't safe. The Heat are sucking as well.

Imagine: Suns, Spurs, Heat; all out in the 1st round?
