...on this board ever friggin' again.

Apparently it friggin' means something worse to some friggin' folks than it friggin' does in friggin' New England.

Ha! It's Woody Allen from Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Sex trying to corral a giant breast. I looked for a pic of Gene Wilder in bed with the sheep, but couldn't find one.

I don't have a problem at my job with that kind of stuff, but I should be more sensitve to others not in the same position. It'll be gone shortly.

Steve

edit:How's that? I replaced the giant breast with a nude surfer?

My mom's typical "cussin'" sentence:

"By the old rotten blue hen, if you think I'm going to pick up after you and peter picking paul and your ever loving Friday foolish mess, let me tell you, you've got another think coming, mister man, because I'm not your blessed brown robin maid."

Or some other Yankee Christian nonsense.

I sometimes use dagnabbit, but I'm more partial to consarnit.

and, yes, I do actually use consarnit. Prospector humor/Prospector cursing are the greatest...

When Repo Man got played on network television, they changed every "motherfucker" to "melon farmer." It was way funnier.

Always been a fan of Die Hard's editing to: "Yippe Kie Yay Mr. Falcon "

My boy Matt and I called each other Mr. Falcon in HS after this.

And that's wrong because...?

No, seriously, I understand why that would be a little bit less easy for a straight woman (or a gay man) to want to use.

I actually do use 'dagnabit' in real life.

T'ain't nothin' wrong with it. But, in the context of our Obnerite enclave, Msr Spoon titled a thread "Holy Frig!" (frig used in the New England style, meaning as placeholder for fuck, with fuck being in that case a pure expletive, nothing more, to show tremendous surprise) and went on to extol the teenage starlet of Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events. Good-man Diesel then replied, Then wouldn't that frig be the unholiest of all? And, following, Shiv posted (for the first time; it later appears in the MJ/Smoking Gun thread) the image for Profile of a Paedophile. These latter two, but mostly Shiv's unwrit commentary, threw Spoon into a fit of pique -- not unlike that of which Msr OPA! is quite capable --, and now he's having his own Spade-style tantrum on the Obner board.

Huuuuah!

There was no tantrum. Only a short burst of disgust.

Ah.

Thanks for the contextual explanation.
