Heath Ledger totally ripped his take on the Brokeback Mountain character from the dude in this film. And they were both in 10 Things I Hate About You a while back.

An interesting film, disturbing at times, but nothing really happened in it.

I wasn't too crazy about this film. Like you said, nothing really ever happens until the last scene.

Quite a disappointment I though.

And how come at the start the kid actually saw a UFO fly over the house? Was it his imagination or what? That was too much of a red herring.

But Heath Ledger totally lifted the character from this film. The mumbling drawl and the mannerisms.

I've got this and Totally Fucked Up but haven't watched either yet. I like Doom Generation though, despite some people thinking it to be one of the worst films of all time.

Doom Generation had a good soundtrack but I didn't care much for the movie. Mysterious Skin was a good movie, but it's a disturbing one that I can't see myself watching over and over again.

doom generation was funny. everytime i have a customer who gets the total 666 or gets 666 back in change, i try and steal their receipt. my success rate is low, though.
