I remember buying tickets to Radiohead at Red Rocks in 2000 or 2001. They had one of those pre-sales with the secret code words. Everyone and their mother found out the word, and then it was just like trying to buy tickets without a pre-sale option.

There are still tix available for San Diego...general admission. I can only imagine the pandemonium trying to rush the stage when they let people in. I can't believe I missed out on the damn ticket sale -- especially since my friend had just checked the site before we headed to San Diego yesterday. Nothing had been posted yet.

that's the worst part. the site had been down, well not down; but inoperational and then bam, everything sells out. that's some bullshit radiohead.

i am fucking livid this happened; first, i somehow managed not to get the normal waste email that would have given me a heads up. then, i spent a decent amount of time yesterday trying to get through to the site, which was down. now i'm screwed. fuck.

Hah. I spoke to her last night, and she told me that I only have a 40% chance of getting hooked up...The higher ups in her office are tying up alot of the 'house tix' for random A-List'ers who may call and want to go...

So, i'll probably buy for one of the shows, and hope she can sneak me in on the other....

I too did not receive the usual Waste mail. Apparently, one of my friends camped out in front of her computer all night and managed to score tickets to the entire west coast gigs.

They're playing with Deefhoof in LA now. I must go to this!

I've never really tried to get tickets to something that would sell out immediately, so how would I go about getting tickets to this. If I go to the Greek that morning, is there any chance? Ticketmaster? I need a gameplan.

I know...I would also have to volunteer my girlfriend to line up since I'll be at work :lol: . But with Deerhoof added and seeing Radiohead in such a small venue, this has become a must-go.

Do all Ticketmaster locations get a certain number of tickets? So could I go to Tower right at 10 and get tix?

My fear is trying to buy tickets online and the system crashing due to a system overload -- which has happened before.

I don't know if they give out wristbands. Maybe I'll have my girlfriend line up at ticketmaster and I'll try the online thing.
