Girls seem to really like both these bands.

That notwithstanding, I saw The Stills on Sunday and they were pretty good live. Wasn't a great venue, but a enjoyable show nevertheless.

Really? I can see it with one of the bands but not both.

Yep. Lots of womens at the RW show we opened (and no, they were not there for us) and I hear swoons from lots of the office girls here about both bands.

Both great on record, but they both bore me live.

I have yet to see the Stills, but you are right about Rogue Wave. Good thing they're opening.

I actually think it's the opposite. It's practically the battle of who could care less on record, but live, I thought RW showed a flair for the creative that they simply didn't get a chance to explore whilst recording "the full band." I think they both put out tremendous-sounding records (which is why we used RW's producer), but I haven't been all that impressed by the songs themselves.

Actually, the Stills just plain bore me, period. I know a lot of people like them a ton and I do like the Wrens a whole bunch, so there you go.

I've never listened to the Stills, but I love Rogue Wave and I thought they were excellent live.
