That reminds me of a party I was at a couple of weeks ago where there were all of these flyers telling us to help support some kid who got arrested for ecoterrorism for watching out for some people while they burned 3 SUVs. I was all like "the best this flyer can say is that he ASSERTS his innocence by pleading 'not guilty'?? You can't even say he's actually innocent?" Apparently that girl next to me was his friend. She didn't seem convinced he was innocent, just that he shouldn't go to jail.
