Anybody watching this? What's it like? I checked out a clip on the IFC site where he was interviewing Ozzy and it went nowhere fast. And it wasn't entirely Ozzy's fault.

If it's anything like his "standup," I'd imagine it's something like a low rent "Politically Incorrect."

judging by the clips and format hinted at on the site - it looks more like a layman's "Dennis Miller show".

eh, it's Henry.... like someone mentioned in a thread a few weeks ago, it feels very scripted and uncomfortable. He had Bill Maher on last week, and thank God Bill's used to talking, because he pretty much carried the whole interview. Bill would go off on a tangent and say something really interesting, they'd cut to Henry, Henry would grin uncomfortably, and go back to his scripted question. There's no flow to the show.

It sucks. His "Letters From Henry" is an annoying waste of time, his lectures are useless & his interviewing style is retarded.

I've only seen the Oliver Stone/S-K one. I didn't find it overwhelmingly disagreeable, particularly considering what else is out there. I was delighted to see S-K absolutely own their performance...and Stone actually came off somewhat intelligible, in that they actually gave him time to talk, rather than soundbyting the segment.

All in all, it was kinda fun laughing at/with Rollins making an ass of himself during some of his more ridiculous moments.

He had BRMC on with Bill Maher. I think he had Jurassic 5 and Ben Folds on another one. So yeah, he's pretty diverse in his musical talent.

I haven't seen the new show...as bad as his movie show on IFC was, I probably won't bother.

However, I thought the weekly show he used to do on Indie 103 was GREAT. He really let his inner record geek shine thru.
