if i'm dating someone or in a relationship, i avoid him for a week if i'm pms'ing. if he wigs out why i'm not talking to him, i just tell him i'm doing him a favor. trust me, you do NOT want to be around me when i'm pms'ing. i'm a raging bitch.

I was fine second trimester.

But this third trimester has been akin to going through non-stop PMS. I'm tired, back hurts, cranky and easily pissed off.

The other night I was so pissed about something Charlie did(he misplaced his pants for school) that Josh took me out in the hall and told me they were tired of my taking my moods out on them.

Yail's got a point. Depo = only way to go.

Because not all birth control for women is safe physically. Even the pill can cause blood clots and many women experience serious sensitivities to it.

The injectable sort? They're finding those can cause serious long term problems. The chemicals can really fuck you up.

Sorry, but the best birth control out there right now that doesn't hurt anyone is the condom.

Plus, if your body is weird with birth control like mine is, you find what works and stick with it. I can't guarantee the injectable kind would work for me. Glad it works for your girl though.... it'd be nice if I could do that.

Oh and if you guys don't like that then you can always just keep your little friend in your pants.

I don't agree with the wording of Charli's post - too much us vs. them going on - but I totally agree with her point. The pill and the injection are known as carcinogenic, so why you'd want someone you allegedly love on it just puzzles the fuck out of me. (um, pun sort-of intended)

HELL NO to depo. sorry if this sounds prude, but i rather get it every month so i know that my body is flushing out the necessary fluids blahblahblah. depo isn't for everyone, nor is it safe.

and if you're a smoker, you're fucked with birth control. i can't take oral contraception because of this nor does my body like oral contraception.

This is true, but birth control can be used to help reduce the severity of PMS symptoms, regulate periods and help protect against the development of ovarian cysts. There are other benefits besides protection against pregnancy.

But I also know that pills can cause icky side effects too, like weight gain, bloating, depression, etc.
