i take THAT as a compliment.

be as honest as you want, people i know aren't 100% honest, might as well get it strait from people i don't know.

I like "wade in the water"

I dont like the way "belly of the beast" is mixed (too much shaker and bass(?)

More later, but dude I'm stoked you got your shit up. Nice work Jewels.

i dig your voice. some of the songs sound really awkward. good deal with god is my fav track out of them all.

the cover art is interesting....did you create it? me likes.

that being said, i wouldn't buy this.

you should prove yourself wrong by buying it, you know just to surprise yourself.

but thanks for listening.
how do you find the songs akward? the structure? the changes?

i did create the art. i paint, and i'm a graphic designer.
all the images were taken from a show i did of small cardboard paintings, seen here:

awkward as in the structure and timing of the instruments. it's loose, and i didn't say it was a bad thing for the type of music you play.

cool art, i digs very much. Image

reminds me a little bit of the first fog lp, specifically the non-turntablist stuff. perhaps that's just the slightly lo-fi vibe that the 2 have in common?

also, i had this and sung tongs open at the same time, and the first song jxtapostes with winters love rather nicely. :)

that being said, i tend to agree with Dalen's take. for the most part, these songs currently sound like they are in demo form, which actually isn't a bad thing, but i wonder how you would do to bring these songs to a full band setting?

if this is your aesthetic and the presentation and execution matches up with your vision, then i imagine you'd disagree. but, have you ruled that out?

KPH

i've always been drawn to the more demoish sound, but i'm open to playing with a band at some point.
