Veto of recent trade is bullshit. Timmyjoe needs to respond.

just let the majority of the league decide, or did they and is that why it's vetoed?

if 1/3 of the league rejects it, then it's vetoed.

i understand you can make a case why the trade is my favor but we haven't heard from timmyjoe yet on why he wanted the trade.

all i know is that every player i've offered in the trade is ranked higher in our league (to date) and the guys i'm offering are young and up and coming and the guys i want are veterans with good track records.

it's sour grapes....i'm guessing timmyjoe gets 5 trade offers this week.

i may just drop all my guys and bail on the league and be done...i argued about trades in the past as was told to take a hike. We'll see.

what does that have to do with the trade? i find it funny that 85 in the shade was going to accept the trade until he realized that he had the lowest waiver wire pick and wouldn't be able to get j beckett.

it was already addressed that timmy wants to keep beckett because it was an accident dropping him.

sour grapes i tell ya.

if we were in a keeper league, then their ages would matter. it's not like you're looking out for long-term interests in our fantasy baseball league, though.

if you're going to complain about this trade not going through because people think it's lopsided, then offer it again in two weeks or a month.

and, for the record, i rejected it because of the seemingly lopsidedness (like manny isn't going to fucking rake once it gets warm? like aramis isn't going to get an offensive bump when derrek lee returns?). oh, and i'd never have done it myself. but whatever, i shouldn't've rejected it just because i thought it was lopsided, since timothy accepted it. and it's not like i was the only one either.

true. i obviously think i'm getting the better end of the deal but timmy has reasons why he likes it. i think manny and aramis will come around...i'm sure timmy think encarnacion will ne a big star and that holliday may reach 40 & 120 in Coors...with some added saves from the relief guys. i'll offer the trade again tomorrow but why.......apparently ever trade should be vetoed.......if you think one side is better than the other it should be vetoed.

This is the problem with allowing leagues to vote on trades. The commish alone should arbitrate all trades, and unless it's obvious collusion, all trades should be allowed.
