Due mainly to one outing. Not saying he's a great pitcher but if he gets a couple of saves here and there, he'll be doing his job for me.

Which one outing:

was it the first, second or third time he blew a save by giving up 4 earned runs in an inning.

or maybe it was the tie game he ended up lossing with 2 er's.

Alright, two outings. He's still the closer for now. In a league with 14 teams you have to scrape a little. Hey, if someone offered me Manny for him I'd take it too!

I am considering this one.

Oh geez...the trade proposal I made you was much better than this. You're getting a bunch of scrubs for Ramirez.

Key to the trade

Wheres he gonna play when Griffey returns? Griffey/Kearns/Dunn in the OF, Freel and Edwin at 2nd and 3rd...I like Brandon, but at the best I think he platoons the rest of the way (of course, Griffey is always good for another 30 game injury)

When Gathright pulls his batting average up he should easily get 40 steals. Philips may get 20 steals and 20 hr's (at second base)...Burgos closes and has better peripherals than lots of other closers at the moment. Who did you offer?

I offered him P Carlos Zambrano, OF Corey Sullivan, and OF Craig Wilson and he rejected it.

I then offered him P Carlos Zambrano, 3B Kevin Youkilis, and P Tom Gordon and he rejected that.

Well Zambrano has looked awful and there are concerns he may have a dead arm. I know nothing of Sullivan and Wilson is in Pitt and is inconsistent. I think it was a good offer however. He needs saves and speed however. did you even look at his roster to see his weak areas?

Your second offer is pretty good but again no speed and Zambrano's arm worries.

Zambrano's arm is just fine. And don't try to spin it that your proposal is better than mine. It's gonna take a lot more than Gathright, Phllips and Burgos to get Ramirez.

Freel's going to play consistently... He'll be taking AB's away from Encarcion (coming in as a defensive replacement, and possibly starting there due to Edwin's "Manos de Piedra"), Phillips (who'll sit once it even seems like he's getting cold - they didn't release Womack to give Phillips a starting spot), and Griffey (because he's probably going to get at least a day off every week from here on out)...

I think I offered enough - a trade that's actually a legitimate one, no less - but we'll see how Timmy's mind works w/ this one...

I also like how everyone's getting this "trade for Ramirez" mentality now...

If Timmy were smart, he'd milk this until he gets an awesome deal.

If his arm is fine why no wins ....era a full point + higher than last k/bb ratio down from 2.3 to 1.7 and whip at 1.6 after 7 starts.

i should start rejecting every trade and then submit ones that are a bit better right afterwards.

Apparently owners in our league are dipshits and don't understand the concept of trying to buy low.

I took no action myself on the trade. For the most part I could care less (I'm getting mya ss spanked anyway), unless it looks like it could offset the league dramatically. To my knowledge there isn't a "ok" button, only a veto action button.

And just so everybody knows i will not trade Mike Cameron. He once hit 4 homers in a game and he's untouchable on my team. Don't even try.

So I'm assuming you're not accepting my offer of P Tom Gordon, P Huston Street, and 2B Chase Utley?

matt, stop being such a baby because one trade was rejected. yeah, okay, so you lured timothy with a cincinnati corner infielder who's playing over his head right now and five people didn't like it. whatever.
