So, I'm catching up with my Tivo last night, and I get to the episode of the Jimmy Kimmel show I recorded from Friday night.
The band 30 Seconds to Mars was performing. (Screw you, they are a great band!)
So, they come back from commercial, and Jimmy introduces them, "Metal Edge magazine calls 'A Beautiful Lie' one of the best albums of 2005... From Los Angeles, here is 30 Seconds to Mars...". The band goes on to play a incredible version of their new single, 'The Kill' (bu that is besides the point)...
The coo: I am 99% certain that the only time this band has been mentioned in Metal Edge Magazine is when I put the record as my #5 favorite of the year. The up-tops around here didn't do any kind of coverage as I can recall.
The conclusion: Jimmy Kimmel indirectly mentioned me to a crowd of 750 and an audience of maybe a million.
I'm partially famous....Im shopping for a reality show now!
