I like her too.
Here is a track from her most recent album, Wayward Angel.

I like her voice and it's a pretty good song, too... although she does have better. Let me know what you all think.

yeah, YSI is finally working for me, again.

What I'd really like to know is what's PopTodd's brother's cousin's garbageman's favorite album is right now.

I tried to be excited about her once because she supposedly was good. And then I failed at that excitement.

Can't stand her

- grew up in a town that hosted a huge country music festival every year, therefore had to hear here incessantly during those 2 weeks, and often during the rest of the year

- a few of the girls on my school hockey team were into that whole commercial country type thing, so had many bus trips where I was forced to hear her

- Not Pretty Enough was a huge hit here. Made me want to break things. Terrible song

That said, I have mixed feelings about Pony. Interesting shift in vocal style. But I wouldn't want to hear it too often

I like "Pony" as well. In fact, it's the only song by her I know. I was in Waterloo one day and it was on display so I plopped the headphones on. That was track 1 I believe. There wasn't much else on it that grabbed me. But I did download "Pony" from iTunes. Kind of a weird voice for that style of music...

I agree. "Not Pretty Enough" is a terrible song. It's like Jewel lite. Awful. It is also not representative of her catalog as a whole, which makes it a shame (and poetically ironic) that it was her big hit.

This has to be the single worst thing Obner (or anyone, for that matter) has ever recommended, Borg inclusive.

no way.

I can at least get down to Usher if an interesting enough girl put it on (a la, Splates RE: Cher).

But Kasey Chambers literally makes me feel sick. Australia is full of these stupid female chart-topping country-cum-blues singers: The Waifs, Missy Higgins, et al. They can all die. And by die, i mean, painfully die.

Guess I might feel like you do if I lived in Australia and was constantly innundated like it sounds like you are. But I don't. And I'm not. And in the context of the American popular landscape, Kasey chambers doesn't sound too bad to me.

But like I said before, I do hate "Not Pretty Enough".

You are all entitled to hate her.
That's cool.
I like her and I like her voice.
